How to Stop Panic Attacks and Cure Anxiety
Panic Attacks are not only extremely terrifying to deal with, most people don’t know how to cope when these intense feelings of fear or anxiety take over. Do you remember the first time you had a panic attack? I do and it was probably one of the scariest things I ever had to deal with. I was drenched in sweat; my heartbeat almost beat through my chest, the hot flashes and uncontrollable shaking. I literally thought I was going to die. I am not sure if you have had the pleasure of dealing with one this severe, but it is traumatic experience. So I searched and found the answer on how to stop panic attacks and cure anxiety.
It didn’t take me long to realize that I am not alone, in fact Over 20 million people in the United States suffer from Panic Attacks and anxiety. These attacks root from several things such as fear, anxiety, phobia’s, and stressful situations. First remember that these attacks cannot hurt you. They are completely harmless, although they don’t feel like it at the moment they are. They are not fatal and you do have complete control over your physical actions, thoughts, and the overall outcome of these situations. If you don’t then that is the first thing you need to figure out. They are different for everybody. Once you find this out let’s move to step two, when do they happen? For instance, if you have a phobia of large crowds do you feel the same feeling with a concert versus a crowded grocery store? If you’re scared of driving your vehicle is only on the freeway, neighborhood streets, or do they start when you are just sitting in traffic?
My point is that it is different for everybody; some people choose to take medication others choose cognitive behavioral therapy or other methods to stop these attacks.
